http://jurnal.farmasisandikarsa.ac.id/ojs/index.php/JFS/article/view/96
<p><em>Pain is a form of emotional sensory discomfort associated with risk or damage to body tissues, this can arise when tissues are being damaged. The classification of pain is generally divided into two, namely acute pain and chronic pain. The treatment often used for acute pain (analgetic-anti-inflammatory) is ibuprofen. However, ibuprofen if consumed in the long term can cause some side effects for the body. The purpose of this study was to find candidates for medicinal ingredients from 96 compounds found in garlic bulbs (Allium sativum L.) as analgetic-anti-inflammatory. This research method uses experimental methods in silico which include molecular docking and molecular dynamics. The results of this study show that UBP20 compounds (tetracycline) have better toxicity than ibuprofen, as well as produce interactions that can be stabilized by the amino acids ARG120 and TYR355. Based on molecular dynamic results, UBP20 compounds have RMSD values of ±2.32 Å and ∆G</em><em>TOTAL</em><em> values of -24.27 kcal / mol. While Ibuprofen has an RMSD value of ±2.46 Å and ∆GTOTAL -35.21 kcal / mol. So it can be concluded that UBPP20 compounds have stable interactions with 1EQG receptors that can be used as candidates for analgetic-anti-inflammatory drugs, but do not yet have a lower ∆GTOTAL value than Ibuprofen (comparison drug).</em></p>Hesti MonikasariRicha MardianingrumKamiel Roesman Bachtiar

http://jurnal.farmasisandikarsa.ac.id/ojs/index.php/JFS/article/view/129
<p>This study aims to determine the potential hyperglycemia of the combination of Watermelon Skin Extract (Citrullus lanatus) and Red Dragon Fruit Skin Extract (Hylocereus polyrhizus). The research method used is the alloxane induction method. Rats were divided into 5 groups, namely positive control given metformin 45 mg / Kg BB, negative control given Na. CMC 1% w/v, and variations of test groups given combination extracts with concentration variations of 6% and 13.4%; 9% and 16.4%; and 12% and 19.4% then each group was induced alloxane at a dose of 24 mg / 200g BB. The results of the study on the negative control given NaCMC 1% did not show a decrease in blood sugar levels, in the positive control given metformin 45 mg / KgBB showed an average percent decrease of 94.12%, in the combination extract test group with a dose of 6% and 13.4% showed an average percent decrease of 25.04%; 9% and 16.4% % showed an average percent decrease of 24.69%; and 12% and 19.4% % showed an average percent decrease of 55.61%. Based on the results of this study, a combination extract of 12% and 19.4% can reduce blood sugar levels of white rats. This study proved that red watermelon peel extract and red dragon fruit peel extract have antihyperglycemia effects.</p>Sainal Edi Kamal Alfreds Roosevelt Gerfan PatandungAchmad Amiruddin

http://jurnal.farmasisandikarsa.ac.id/ojs/index.php/JFS/article/view/128
<p><em>Body immunity is an immune system designed to detect or destroy foreign objects that enter the body to avoid disease. Immunity is important to maintain so that the body remains healthy, one way is by consuming natural ingredients or preparations to increase body immunity. The purpose of this study was to determine the profile study of the use of natural materials and immune-enhancing preparations in Politeknik Sandi Karsa students. This type of research uses a descriptive method, namely research that includes surveys with data collection in the form of questionnaires with a total of 69 respondents. The sampling method uses Non Probability Sampling with Purposive Sampling techniques using questionnaires using the Opened Questionare questionnaire format in data collection and report recording. The results of this study show that there are still students who use natural ingredients in the form of ginger, lemongrass, honey, ginger, moringa leaves, turmeric and life connection leaves while the body's immunity-enhancing preparations are used such as vitamin C, immunos, stimuno, imboost force, vit Bcom-Z and Bcom and reject wind. So it can be concluded that the Profile Study of the Use of Natural Ingredients and Immune Enhancing Preparations in Sandi Karsa Polytechnic Students who use natural ingredients in the form of ginger is 20 respondents (29.00%) and immune boosting preparations using vitamin C are 19 respondents (27.55%).</em></p>Sulfiyana H. Disease with the same symptoms is gastritis but with different levels, inflammation of the gastric mucosa accompanied by damage or erosion of the mucosa. Gastritis can also occur due to infection from the bacterium Helicobacter pylori. The condition of antacid drugs does which is an over-the-counter drug that can be found anywhere is a drug that can relieve the disease, but in the service of purchasing this drug it takes people who struggle in the world of pharmacy such as pharmacists to provide information. Previous researchers have found that if you do not receive treatment that is not in accordance with medical indications it can be bad for patients, namely worsening disease conditions, decreased life expectancy, and increased health care costs. This is dangerous for buyers of these drugs if they are not right on target of the diseases and drugs they buy, so researchers are interested in seeing a picture of public knowledge about the use of Antacid Doen drugs at Narisa Pharmacy. The method used in this study is descriptive with survey techniques where data collection uses questionnaires as a measuring tool containing questions about several knowledge domains, namely Know (Know) Understand (Comprehension) Analyze (Analysis) Apply (Application) Synthesize Unite Elements into a whole then use the Gutman scale as a choice of Yes and No answers, of course prioritizing respondents' rights including inclusion and exclusion criteria. This study is a Non Probability Sampling study with an Accidental Sampling approach, namely anyone who by chance comes to buy Antacid drugs Doen met at the pharmacy, the population in this study is the surrounding community who came to buy drugs at Apotek Narisa with the number of samples based on the selection of results from the Slovin formula as many as 68 respondents.
